What is 'The Winged Bean'?

We are, quite simply, your personal chef! At our core, we are a team of health-conscious entrepreneurs, professional chefs, and nutritionists dedicated to making healthy eating more convenient. We deliver fresh, nutrient-rich, delicious meals twice a week. By providing great-tasting food and incredible convenience, we do all of the work for you. No calorie counting, carb-tracking, food journals, shopping, cooking, or dirty dishes.

Our process is simple: Pick your plan and we will cook the meals on the weekly rotation and deliver them to you.

We’re your personal chef, your grocery shopper, recipe maker, and dishwasher all wrapped in one. All you have to do is eat!

Can I pause my subscription?

Absolutely! In the ‘Member’s login’, go under “Subscriptions’ and you will be able to suspend your subscription there.

How do I unsubscribe?

Go to ‘Member’s login’, under the ‘Subscriptions’ tab, and unsubscribe there.

What is the sign up fee for?

I got charged $0.00 is my subscription active?

Yes it is!

Our system charges every Thursday, to ensure that you have ample time to pick your meals, or make any changes to the order each week.

As such, if you sign up on any other day of the week it will issue you a charge of $0.00 + the signup fee, as a confirmation of your account. From there on out every charge will go through on Thursdays of each week!

Choosing meals

How do I do it?

Navigate to member’s login and click on the ‘week meals’ tab. Select the desired meals and their quantity then press ‘save’. That’s it!

What's the deadline?

All meal choices are locked in at 11:59 pm each Wednesday. All choices made after that time are for the following week.

What if I forgot to pick my meals?

No worries! We will send you an equal amount of each meal on that week’s rotation.


Does the menu change?

Yep! all the time!

Our chefs keep the menu interesting by constantly changing things up to make sure you don’t get bored of it!

I have food allergies how do I know if I can eat your meals?

Currently, we cannot serve people with soy, or nut allergies. We are working on a menu, and will be sure to notify you the moment we made so make sure to subscribe to our e-mail letters! 

Otherwise, if you have an allergy to any other foods not listed on here, make sure to let us know [email protected], and we will do our best to find a way to make it work for you!

Is the food gluten-free?

All our food is 100% gluten free! 

Is the food vegan?

All our food is 100% animal product free. 

We do this for your health as well as the planets’!

How our delivery works

How will my meals arrive?

All the meals are packaged in microwave-safe containers, which are in turn placed in a cooler bag to transport.

If you are home, we will hand the meals out in a plastic bag, otherwise we will leave the cooler bag outside your door. 

What if I'm not home when you deliver the meals?

There is no signature required for pick-up, so if anybody else in your house is home we will just pass the package on to them.

Otherwise, we will leave the cooler bag outside your house or with a concierge

Is your packaging recyclable?

Yep! All the containers are 100% recyclable.

What do I do with the cooler bag?

If you got a bag, it means you weren’t home to pick the meals up last time. Leave it out on the next day of delivery and we will pick it up. 


How do I refer a friend

If you navigate to ‘member’s login’ tab of the website, you should immediately see the ‘referrals’ tab on the left hand side of your account and access you referral link from there!

How do I redeem my free meals?

As an existing customer you will automatically get $10 off your next week’s purchase.
New customers will get $10 off their first week’s purchase upon signing up through the link!
