Buzzcocks playing live in Bangkok

You should know already, but if you don’t, the Buzzcocks are coming to play in Bangkok! How the organizers scored this one I don’t know, but full credit to them. I can’t remember the last time an act such as these guys played in BKK at an individual show, hmmm, maybe when the drummer from the Yeah Yeah Yeah’s played a DJ set in RCA?? But that doesn’t really count as a rock show. Although it was fun.

Regardless, my ulterior motive for this blatant post is to point out a friend of mines’ band has been lucky enough to be offered a spot supporting the Buzzcocks! That band being Blood Thirst Spider. Here’s a video of them doing what they do best at White Out in Coco walk (the venue has since been turned into a sushi joint).

Rock pretty hard eh?

So don’t just turn up in time to watch the Buzzcocks. Get there early to check out Abuse the Youth (who also are a great live band) and Blood Thirst Spiders.

And when you go, don’t just stand still at the back with your hands in your pockets. Enjoy yourself and move around a bit!
